MISSION
The
Immigrant Culture and Art Association is a not for profit organization,
which joins efforts and expertise with others, to provide programs and
services in communities to introduce, promote and preserve the cultural
and artistic expressions, experiences and abilities of immigrants to
enrich Canadian Society.
VISION
The
Immigrant Culture and Art Association envisions a Canada that recognizes
and values the cultures, arts, and contributions of immigrant artists,
and cultural workers, their organizations, and communities to the quality

opportunities to the children and youth of immigrants and low-income
families and involving them in productive, secure, and safe
activities through art education and cultural eventsInvolving
and integrating new immigrant artists and cultural workers into the
mainstream artistic and cultural community life, settlement and
integrationJob
search and product marketing services for Immigrant and low-income
artists and cultural workersExploring
resources, enabling artists, musicians and cultural workers to earn
their livelihood by working in their own professionIntroducing colourful
culture and art from different parts of the world into the Canadian
multicultural mosaic.Organizing
and participating in the immigrant culture, positive customs,
traditions, exhibitions, celebrations, events, festivals, music,
arts, crafts and fashion shows and eventsAntiracism
and peace programs in schools and communities through artSupporting
and organizing sport activities that bring cultural diversity and
peace among children, youth and communitiesParticipating
in joint artistic educational and community programs with

a home-based business for immigrant women who have rich experiences
